DSD, or “Direct Stream Digital” is the encoding used by Super Audio CDs (SACDs). DXD, or “Digital eXtreme Definition” is a very high resolution digital audio format. Dsd2Dxd allows you to convert from DSD to DXD, as well as to lower resolution lossless formats.

The quality of the output audio files has been painstakingly tuned with custom, linear phase digital filters; each designed for one input to output sample rate conversion only, with filters never reused. The results are worthy of the most demanding pro audio or audiophile use case.

With a responsive UI and fast conversions, it will never feel laggy, despite being truly cross-platform. Works identically on Mac, Windows, and Linux.

Supports stereo and mono DSF, DFF, and Wavpack DSD files, from DSD64 to DSD512 rates
Supports 16, 20, 24, and 32 bit float output, with optional dither optimized accordingly
Outputs to 44.1kHz-768kHz sample rates
Outputs to WAVE (auto-promoted to RF64 when exceeding 4GB), AIFF, FLAC, and ALAC
Batch conversion of files and folders/subfolders
Copies artwork files to output folders
ID3v2 and APE tags are automatically copied/converted to output files from DSF, DFF, and Wavpack files, with optional appending of album tags and filenames with helpful identifiers
